we took a wrong route and din get to our destination as expected. Luckily, we got help from the locals, and one super super nice uncle actually led us to the place we wanted to get to. he took us on a short cut, cutting through forest and bushes and rocky pathways. im sure we will get lost if we were on our own. we saw the fortress built during the baejaek period on our way. The uncle was trying to explain to us how it was built using rock. hahas. hes a really smart person. he knew tt we dun understand korean. So throughout the whole walk there, he used ONLY body language. lols.

finally, we managed to reach the peak of the mountain

we rested at the pavilion for abt 1 plus hour and we had gimbap and pocarri sweat. AND DEN we realised that the super nice uncle actually waited for us while we were pigging away. GOSH! hes really super super nice uncle.

he waited for us so that he can lead us down the mountain. and this time, again, taking us by shortcut. we actually managed to get to the bottom of the mountain within 30mins. but cos i was already super shagged when i reached the top, my legs wobbled uncontrollably while he took us on a even rockier pathway down the mountain. lols.

while we were all shagged and drenched with sweat. i randomly said in chinese : maybe the uncle has a car and he will drive us back to school. den i laughed it off.
DEN DEN DEN, we saw the uncle putting his hand into his pocket, only to fish out a bunch of keys, walked towards a lorry, opened the lorry's door AND ASKED US TO HOP IN! wah lao wah lao wah lao. we will never find such nice ppl ard in Singapore la! i dare to say.

fers, he led us to the destination we wanted to get there ( SUPER FAR, from one side of the mountain to the other end )

second, he waited for us for almost 2 hrs without food while we were happily pigging away ( we din noe he waited for us, but i bought him a poccari sweat though )

third, he led us down again.

fourth, he drove us back to school.

TELL ME WHERE IN SINGAPORE CAN FIND SUCH NICE PERSON!

in fact when we took a taxi to the foot of the mountain from school, the taxi driver dropped us at a wrong place. and another nice local offered to drive us to the starting point. O.O so nice la!

singaporeans. hais.
koreans. waoh!

this reminds me of the time when i suddenly felt sick during a mrt ride. i started vomiting, and the next scene was, everyone SIAM-ed me. EVEN a nun (or sister?) reading a bibble slowly moved away from me. No one bothered to ask if im okay, or gave up their seat for me.

in fact, this is not the only time. somehow, i always suddenly feel like puking or fainting on the train. lols. and i can say again. TILL NOW NO ONE HAS OFFERED HELP TO ME BEFORE when i obviously looked unwell. hais singaporeans. but i know i shouldnt be over-generalising the whole Singaporean population. there are nice people among too. but in comparison with the South Korea's population, its just too too too too too too too too too too FEW.

i have been here for 6 weeks le. and throughout my stay here, i have met over 10 south koreans, who offered their help when i looked lost or when i asked for help.

i really hope tt Singapore will become a place with more 人情味.

anw, ill be back to Singapore next fri 180708

meanwhile, i have to study for my Korean test next tues. lols.

im telling you my secrets
